Are you looking for a highly ambitious research project that brings together hematopoiesis, epigenetics and leukemia? Here is your chance to contribute to science that makes a difference!

To strengthen our research team, we are looking for a PostDoc (f/m/d) in Hematopoiesis and Leukemia. In this responsible role, you will have the unique opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary competence center for pediatric oncology and to have a direct influence on the development of new cancer therapies.

Your responsibilities

  • You will lead a research project in an exciting, young & multi-disciplinary group
  • You will contribute to our research activities with your creative input
  • You will write manuscripts, present at scientific conferences, apply for fellowships & contribute to grants
  • You will supervise and support junior members of our team
 
 

Your profile

What you bring for this position: 

  • PhD degree in the areas of hematopoiesis, leukemia, epigenetics or immunology
  • At least one first-author paper in a peer-reviewed journal
  • Research experience in hematopoiesis, leukemia, epigenetics and control of gene expression
  • Proficiency in flow cytometry and functional genomics
  • Experience with mouse models, genomics and basics of bioinformatics are a plus
  • Self-motivation and proactive mind-set
